Casio Enticer and General men’s watches in Pakistan
This is the largest Casio range at Gharri Wala: 337 men’s watches covering the classic analogue dress and everyday styles. Prices run from Rs 7,200 to Rs 29,800, and most sit near Rs 13,300, which makes it the range most people actually buy from.
Steel or leather
Two hundred and thirty-five come on a stainless steel bracelet and ninety-four on a leather strap. Steel is the safer choice in Karachi humidity and wipes clean; leather looks better with formal clothes but will need replacing every couple of years. All 337 run quartz movements.
Water resistance and dials
One hundred and seventy-six are rated to 50 metres, which covers hand-washing, wudu and rain comfortably. The rest carry a general water-resistant rating. Day and date windows are common, and a number of models add a 24-hour sub-dial or an alarm.
Picking one
For daily office wear, a 40mm steel model with a day and date window in the Rs 12,000 to Rs 16,000 band is the most useful watch in the range. If it is a gift, leather reads as more of an occasion.
